The Young Eagles Fly-In at the Moore County Airport was a success Saturday as pilots from the local chapter of the EAA gave kids aerial tours of the area.
While parents waited in the packed lobby, pilots flew children over their homes, schools and other local landmarks to give them a different perspective of every day sightings.
The Young Eagles program began in 1992 to give young people the opportunity to go flying from a general aviation airport. This year's event was the fifth fly-in at the Moore County Airport.
